The cost of food constantly increases and they’re just making harder for the people who really need and rely on stamps to provide for their family. How about the government take a pay cut so families can still feed their families with no issues!!

Stuart Goodall There is such a thing as accountability. Many people seem to act as if it don’t exist though. Like it’s a mythical thing like a unicorn, a leprechaun, or the great pumpkin. Unemployed, underemployed, again, whose fault? Personal responsibility. People act like they supposed to be guaranteed a job because they exist. No, companies want people that will be assets, not drains on the bottom line. Better yet, start your own company. If you prepare appropriately, when hard times do come, you’ll have something other than an extended hand to fall back on.

shonta_bird That’s a very touchy subject. I use to receive stamps. I’m very grateful for when I did, but no matter what no one says @drejohnson1 the only ones who will suffer is the kids. I don’t mind my tax dollars help to feed a family.

I must say that before people judge one another, look outside the box at other people and their circumstances and then maybe they’ll understand the next persons struggle.

thatbme2430@drejohnson1 ok, so this is a touchy subject. Let me just say that everyone who receive food stamps are unemployed. If you qualify for food stamp assistance bc of your income, social services will give you help. Unfortunately you have some people that do not use food stamps for the benefit that there for so society judges everyone that receive them. Everyone’s situation is different and maybe that $10 or $20 will make a difference to someone. Those people that do the wrong thing with the food stamps, unfortunately made it bad for the people who do the right thing.

_toyalovingherkids I am one that receives food stamps and I’m a little upset. I have lost my job in april. I recently started college. Even though they didn’t cut it a lot but still, i have to feed my children and keep a roof over their heads. So to everyone who has something negative to say….don’t judge a book by its cover. Some people need the help.

bladesbunny Bittersweet. Some ppl have valid reasons to receive the amount of stamps they get it’s the ones that have fight parties, game parties, etc at least once a month that need their funds re-evaluated.
