Rap Attack pays homage to the 1st Lady of Jermaine Dupri’s record label SO SO Def, the one and only Da Brat. Da B-R-A-T sold over a million copies of her 1st breakout debut album with Funkdafied. Da Brat was the first solo female to this and second to Hip Hop Pioneers Salt N Pepa. Funkdafied alone had several singles that became Hip Hop classics such as Give It To You and Funkdafied. Born Shawntae Harris she is also the sister of actress Lisa Raye, her rapid fire delivery and no holds barred style made her a legitimate MC even with her male counterparts.
