A sad weekend for the radio world and tons of fans as radio icon and television host Kidd Kraddick died suddenly at a golf charity event in New Orleans on Saturday (July 27).   It was first reported that Kraddick died of a brain aneurysm but his autopsy revealed that Kraddick had an enlarged heart and heart disease.  According to the coroner, three of his four arteries were 40 to 80 percent blocked, which likely caused him to collapse en route to the emergency room Saturday.

Kraddick was the lead of the popular morning radio team Kidd Kraddick in the Morning based out of Dallas, Texas and syndicated on numerous radio stations throughout the U.S..  He was also a regular on the nationally-syndicated television show Dish Nation.

Kraddick was only 53 years old and would have celebrated his 54th birthday next month.  Kraddick leaves behind a daughter, Caroline Craddick and will be missed by his throngs of fans and friends in the entertainment industry.
