School teacher Terrilyn Monette found dead in her car in the waters of Bayou St. John in Louisiana.
After searching for 3 months, the story for dedicated Lousiana elementary school teacher Terrilyn Monette has come to a bitter end. Monette, went missing after leaving a local bar. She was celebrating her nomination for “Teacher of The Year,” and the bartender apparently had to cut her off for having too many drinks. She was last seen driving off in her black 2012 Honda Accord. It appears that a drunken Monette drove off of the road into the murky waters of Bayou St. John. Divers, using sonar, found the body of Monette still strapped into the front seat of her Honda Accord. The family watched in grief and disbelief as the car was pulled from the waters. Monette was 26 years old.
