Last night, I joined millions of Americans who tuned in to see the premiere of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta on VH-1. So I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that I may be the only viewer who will refuse to ever watch it again.
I will honestly say that watching reality shows are sometimes entertaining but for the most part, in my opinion, breeds ignorance and violence on all levels.
From women throwing bottles to men muggin’ women in the face. I’m most disgusted by the women who engage in such activity by calling each other bitches and spitting in each other’s faces! I would NEVER treat another woman in this fashion; regardless of the harm she may place toward me.
Is the route we’re going as a society? What are we teaching our young women and men? Have we become a society with such low expectations of each other that we’ll settle for this type of entertainment?
Again, this is simply my opinion that I feel these shows breed DOMESTIC VIOLENCE and I refuse to support this movement!
You can do what you want. I’ll just read your tweets for entertainment! I’m sure VH1 won’t miss me!
