49ers corner back Chris Culliver has not started off his Superbowl experience very well after going on a tirade during media day about how gays shouldn’t be allowed in the NFL! This is how it all went down radio personality Artie Lang asked Chris if any homosexual tried to hit on him & if anyone on his team way homosexual and Chris response left a not so good impression, check out the full audio below plus his apology!
“I don’t do the gay guys man,” Culliver said. “I don’t do that. No, we don’t got no gay people on the team, they gotta get up out of here if they do.”
A day after Chris statement he did apology for his actions saying,
“The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel,” Culliver said in a statement released by the team. “It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience.”
