Is It A Cold Or FLU?

Fever is rare with colds in adults and older children, but can be as high as 102° F in infants and small children. Fever’s will go up 102° F, but can go up to 104° F and usually lasts three to four days when you have the flu.

A Headache is rare with colds while the flu can sudden onset headaches and can be severe.

Muscle aches can be mild with colds and can be severe with the flu.

Tiredness and Weakness are mild with colds but often extremes with the flu and can last two or more than weeks.

With colds you will never have extreme exhaustion, but with the flu a sudden onset and can be severe.

You will often have a sore throat, runny nose or sneeze with a cold and sometimes with the flu.

Colds will usually bring a mild hacking cough, but can become severe with the flu.
