If you missed the Back To School Teen Summit, presented by Mondawmin Mall you missed an amazing and informative time! We talked about alot of topics that affect not only our children gearing up for school, but our parents and our community as a whole who are faced with many challenges that affect the learning of our kids!
Joined by several representives of the Baltimore community both professionally and politically; including R&B singer and Founder of the Mario Do Right Foundation, MARIO!!! Even the OMG Girlz stopped by to talk about their first day of school experiences and bullying!
If you’re starting high school or if you’re excited about the return of a new school year, don’t forget these important facts:
1. Don’t fall victim of peer pressure
2. Find and/or create a positive circle of friends
3. Don’t participate in any form of bullying (physical, social, or cyber)
4. Ask for help
