The past couple of days the net has been heating up over Nas and the alleged Ghostwriting controversy. It started from hiphop enthusist and author Dream Hampton tweeting saying that Nas’s Untitled aka Ni%$er album was penned by Jay Electronica and Stic man of Dead Prez. This statement alone had the hiphop world on fire read the tweets below.
Saying something like this could jack up somebody’s career in this case Nas since he is considered one of the top ten MC’s on anybody’s list (DON’T LIE TO YOURSELF!!!!) If you didn’t write your lyrics you can’t be one of the best to ever do it. In the midst of the controversy Jay Electronica responded and tweeted.
“Nas is one of the Greatest Ever. never has and never will need a ghostwriter. that man’s pen and legacy is without question.”
