Everybody including myself has been wrapped up in “Gabby Mania” for her recent accomplishments. In her own right there is another athelete that the world needs to know her name is Clareesa Shields U.S. Women’s Boxing Gold Medalist.
Coming from Flint Michigan she has made history in the women’s middle weight boxing final, beating out Nadezda Torlopova of Russia. This is the first year that boxing has been included on the Olympic Roster which will leave her name placed forever in the history books.
