Now this one is special in its on way…..although the US swimming team isn’t putting on a show that everybody expected olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is making headlines with his custom red, white and blue grill. After he grabbed the gold in the 40oIM in a tribute to the ancient athletes of the past who used to wear decorated teeth jewelry marking their accomplishments Lochte was banned from wearing the grills on the podium. Out of all of the things atheletes have done in the past to make a statement, I really don’t think that this one is that bad especially since Lochte has worn them in competitions before.
