Rumors have been swirling that rapper 2 Chainz is signed to G.O.O.D Music, but this may not be true.The ATL rapper’s most recent appearance with Kanye and company was on the latest cover of Complex Magazine.
But, contrary to popular belief, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi isn’t actually signed to G.O.O.D. Music well at least on paper he says.
“I’m not officially signed, paperwork-wise, to G.O.O.D. Music. But I have a great rapport with ’Ye,” 2 Chainz explains. “He called me before Watch the Throne came out. I’m an only child. I’ve got trust issues. So I don’t have a best friend, a brother, sister — nothing.”
2 Chainz also say’s,
“I’ve talked to ’Ye 1,000 times about trying to make this situation work for the both of us, so it won’t feel like anyone is getting used or anything,” he said. “I’m in a position in life where I like talking about things like that. I came from a situation with DTP, being under Luda, where I got a phobia. Sometimes when an artist signs another artist, they’re so worried about themselves. And with ’Ye, he helps everybody.”
So the rumors are put to a close, 2 Chainz is not signed with G.O.O.D Music but will continue to make apperances!
