Earlier this morning, Kerry Washington and Jimmy Kimmel announced the 2012 Emmy Nominations at the television academy’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.
Idris Elba was nominated for Lead Actor Mini Series or Movie for “Luther” while the show itself was nominated for Outstanding Mini Series or Movie. Maya Rudolph picked up a nod for Outstanding Guest Actress In A Comedy Series for her hosting gig on “SNL. Don Cheadle is up for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role on “House of Lies” and Giancarlo Esposito got a nod for his supporting role on “Breaking Bad.”And the cast of “30 Rock” featuring Tracy Morgan picked up a nod for Outstanding Comedy Series. Also, “The Voice” featuring Cee-Lo Green was nominated for Best Competition Reality Show.
