Hundreds of kids across the country, including dozens from the Jemicy School in Owings Mills, participated in the attempt to break a record and support a good cause at the same time.

Each student had to read anywhere from two words to two sentences, but for these kids it’s not as easy as it sounds.  Their dyslexia can make it difficult.

The kids were hoping to land a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people reading a single book in a day.
