Baltimore Schools CEO Says Furlough Days Possible

The CEO of the Baltimore City public school system says employees would be forced to take furlough days if the state’s so-called “doomsday” budget goes into effect.
Andres Alonso spoke Tuesday as he prepared to present the fiscal year 2013 budget. Alonso says the school system found that four furlough days would produce enough savings to keep school budgets from being touched.
