CDL Over-the-Road Truck Driver Wanted (Baltimore)
Tidewater Direct is searching for a truck driver to drive it’s 2008 Peterbilt 386 Truck with Sleeper or a new Volvo 670. Driver pay is $.40 per mile loaded, $.20 per mile unloaded with $20 per stop. Hourly pay for shop visits, as well as hourly pay for waiting more than 3 hours at a stop is included.
Driving for Tidewater Direct can be rewarding, but also demanding at times. Drivers are periodically away for 1-2 weeks at a time, although normally trips may be only 1 or two nights. Because much of the material that will be transported is time sensitive, trips can start on any day at any time, excluding major holidays. This includes occasional Sundays and weekends.
To qualify, a safe & drug free driving record, as well as a minimum of 2 years over-the-road is required.
