Ravens CB Frank Walker was called for an illegal contact penalty with Pittsburgh in need of a first down with two minutes remaining. On the play, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger scrambled out of the pocket and threw an interception to Baltimore FS Tom Zbikowski. But it was negated by the penalty and resulted in an automatic first down for Pittsburgh, leaving the Ravens unable to stop the clock without timeouts.

Steelers OLB Lamar Woodley came up huge in crunch time. Woodley, who finished with seven tackles, sacked Ravens QB Joe Flacoo on third and fourth down during Baltimore’s final drive of the fourth quarter. His second sack resulted in a forced fumble that was recovered by Pittsburgh with 2:27 remaining. Woodley now has 11.5 sacks on the season and 9.5 in his last seven games.

Baltimore shot itself in the foot by committing 11 penalties for 113 yards. In addition to Walker’s illegal contact, which ultimately ended the game, two of the Ravens’ penalties negated would-be touchdowns

I will say that Walker has to do better if we plan to make a run for the BIG SHOW! The D is doing there JOB, so may Ray Lewis should pull Walker to the side and tell him to MAN UP!!
